Actress Nayantara, who debuted in Kannada cinema with Upendra's Super, is currently shooting for Tamil film Thirunaal in Kumbakonam in Tamil Nadu. Recently, her cozy selfie with her rumoured boyfriend and filmmaker Vignesh Shivan got leaked online and went viral. A day after the leak, an upset Nayantara had apparently cancelled the shoot and spent the whole day in her hotel room. A source from the film's unit told Mirror that Nayantara was extremely unhappy with the leak. "She was so upset that she requested the shoot to be cancelled.
When the director tried to inquire, she left the sets without giving clear explanation. We found out later that the previous night her selfie with director Vignesh had leaked, and she was down because of it," the source said.
What apparently took Nayantara by surprise was the fact that how the selfie she had as her Whatsapp display picture got leaked. "She has no clue how the picture got leaked," the source added. Apparently, the picture was clicked on her recent trip to Mauritius with Vignesh. It's also believed that Nayanthara has reportedly exchanged wedding vows with Vignesh Shivan recently in a hush-hush ceremony. A source close to the actress from Kerala had told us that except for the families of the bride and the groom, no one from the industry know about the wedding.
However, the actress had denied the news and when this selfie leaked; it has raised lot of eyebrows. Insiders say that the couple plan to talk about their relationship during the audio launch of Naanum Rowdydhaan, the project that's said to have brought Nayantara and Vignesh together. This project is helmed by Vignesh, while Dhanush has produced it. The team recently wrapped up shooting and is busy with the post-production work.
